CELEBRATING TheLife&Legacy
Medris Agatha Bullard Davis was born to the late Robert Bullard and Leonie Bullard on December 7, 1953. She was raised in a Christian home where she was taught the love and admiration for the Word of God by her late grandmother, Marion Cleare (Old Bight, Cat Island)
She later migrated to Nassau for employment and subsequently moved to Barnegat, NJ in July 1979, where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Later, she relocated to Virginia Beach, VA to be with her daughter and grandchildren. There, she joined Discipleship Tabernacle Church under the leadership of Pastor Kerry Smithand Deitre Smith. Affectionately known as “Mother Medris” by her leaders and many church members, she was widely respected for her accurate prophetic insight and wisdom. Her life was anchored by the declaration she often spoke: “I BELIEVE GOD.”
Left to mourn her passing is her beloved husband Simon Davis of Columbia, SC whom she loved dearly.
Medris was the devoted mother of one daughter, Apostle Denise Medris Wellington,(Virginia Beach, VA) whom she affectionately called “Niece,” and cherished son-in-love, Anthony Wellington. She was also the proud and loving grandmother of four grandchildren: Gerald P. Bullard-Owens, Hannah E. Donsonwhite and her husband Jabrel Donsonwhite, Kassan I. Wellington, and Kidada Wellington. She immensely cherished her two greatgrandchildren, Hezekiah Donsonwhite and Jael Medris Donsonwhite.
