From Nagpur Chapter NIPM representatives, Mr. Anand Toal, Mrs. Shobha Bhagia, Bhoopendra Shahaneji, and two HR executives participated in the National Conference Organized by the Chennai chapter, at Chennai on 15th & 16th September 2017. The attendees of Nagpur Chapter had interacted with Mr. Charles Juster, Hon. General Secretary, National Council.

NIPM Inititiative during Pravartan Diwas, Deekshabhoomi On the eve of Dhamma chakra Pravartan Diwas,29th Sept. 2017 National Institute of Personnel Management, Nagpur team alongwith higher authorities from Government labour department were invited for the inauguration of stall by Butibori Industrial Workmen of all Industries Viz. KEC, Indorama, Spentex, Indo Worth, HUL, Grindwell, Dinshaw, Premier Irrigation, Star Circlip, AMCL, Unitech etc. During this occasion 400 kg sweets were offered to the devotees. The programme was inagurated by our chairman MrPradipRaut alongwith others lighted the traditional lamp.

Workshop on Discipline and Disciplinary Procedure held 7th October 2017 The maiden workshop organized by newly elected body of National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) Nagpur Chapter on Discipline and Disciplinary Procedures has seen thunderous response from Small, Medium and established Industries of In and around Vidarbha region. The workshop was organized here on Saturday 7th October 2017 in Hotel Pride and delivered by the most eminent HR IR professional of Vidarbha Region Mr. Sanjay Deo Ex Vice President HR IR of PIX Transmission Limited having 27+ years of rich experience. Mr. Deo is known to be the university of IR in entire Vidarbha Region. In his keynote address Mr. Pradip Raut Chairman NIPM Nagpur chapter expressed the idea behind this contemporary topic and it's huge relevance to industry. He also mentioned “Progress, Peace, Prosperity are the natural products of Industrial Disciplines. Industrial Discipline which in fact is the core issue for all the practitioners and professionals of HR and IR, is always challenging and continuously is being faced by one and all.� Mr. Animesh Mishra Regional PF Commissioner sent his representative as he could not make it due to exigencies and wished all the best to the organising committee. Mr.V R Panbude, Additional Labour Commissioner, urged professionals to maintain decorum and resolve issues amicably in house. Further he appreciated the efforts of NIPM Nagpur chapter and emphasized on the strong commitment of the organising committee towards HR IR Profession. The program was followed by dinner. Mr. Amrish Kumar Sharma Joint Director Sub Regional Office ESIC Nagpur informed new amendments under ESIC and compliance under the statute. He also informed that all the procedure upto pre construction level of 200 bededESIC
Hospital have already been complied and the
construction will start soon. Mr. Anand Toal Regional Vice President Central Region congratulated the team and gathering for overwhelming response and promised to organise another session on the topic shortly. The workshop which initially was planned for only 60 odd participants saw tremendous response of nearly 150+ participants from HR- IR First Line, Second Line leaders and supervisors from Companies, Industries across Vidarbha Region, Industrial Association, Lawyers, Professionals have made the event a grand success.

Discussion on Grey Areas
NIPM member along with BMA members and representatives from various industries like Indorama, KEC, CEAT, Morarji Mills, Johnson Lift, met Additional Labour Commissioner V R Panbude at his office in Civil Lines and discussed the various issues with respect to Butibori Industrial Area.

Student Chapter Orientation Student Chapter Orientation for Student Membership Drive held at Datta Meghe Institute of Management Studies on 10th November 2017. Students were enlightened with the features and benefits of NIPM Membership by the Delegates of NIPM. Mrs. Sonali Pathak had introduced about NIPM & Nagpur Chapter, its benefits to the students for their personal & professional growth and its global impact. Mr. Anand Toal Regional Vice President (Central) had briefed about the Students National Conference to be organized at Bangalore in March 2018 and also the importance of professional networking. Mr. Pradip Raut, Chairman NIPM Nagpur Chapter briefed about the various activities of NIPM Nagpur Chapter and he also told that NIPM is a fraternity of HR professionals comprising of very renowned and senior HR professionals which is a unique platform for the students to interact with the HR &IR Professionals to hone their professional skills and also very nominal participation fees for the various workshops and events organized by NIPM. More than 80 students had attended the programme and shown their active interest to join the membership. A student chapter body has also been formed at DMIMS which one of the renowned &top ranked Management College in the Vidarbha Region. The membership forms will be collected in the last week of Nov. 17.
