Village pubs, family-run restaurants and neighbourhood cafés across the UK are set to benefit from a share of £10 million after a new three-year Hospitality Grant Scheme opened for applications earlier this week (September 2nd).

At the time, the former chancellor said the scheme would help “over 1,000 pubs provide extra services for local communities, including creating community cafés, village stores and play areas to help bring locals and families together and boost their footfall”.
