Iron Bead Sports Keyrings
Materials:
• Iron Beads – Multi – Big Tub – 12763
• Iron Beads Pegboard – Clear – 12758

• Iron Beads Ironing Paper – Pack of 10 – 12754
• Jump Rings – Silver – Pack of 50 – 11241

• Other materials required: An iron, ironing board, pliers and templates (page 8).
1. Print out the templates on page 8. Place your pegboard on top of your chosen template, aligning the edges of the template with the edges of the pegboard. Fill in the designs with iron beads. Use the template colours as a guide or choose your own.
2. Place a sheet of ironing paper over the designs. Gently iron the beads in a circular motion for about 40 seconds to fuse the beads together evenly. Allow to cool.
5. Use pliers to open a jump ring and push it through one of the iron bead holes. Close the jump ring with pliers to secure.
3. Flip the designs off the pegboard and lay flat on the ironing paper. Place some more ironing paper over the designs and iron the reverse side for about 40 seconds. Allow to cool.
4. Check both sides to ensure that each bead has fused together. You can iron over any spots that may need further melting (using the ironing paper again).
6. Thread
the split ring of the metal keyring onto the jump ring.
7. Your Iron Bead Sports Keyrings are now ready to display and clip onto your bag or keys!
Sports Jersey Frame
Materials:
• Papier Mache Shirt Frame – 14007

• Other materials required: Scissors, a pencil, paint brushes and templates (pages 9 & 10).
The perfect craft for a special sports fan in your life!
1. Add a coat of white paint to your papier mache shirt frame. This is not essential but provides a good base for painting. Allow to dry.
4. Layer and glue the foam pieces together to create your chosen design. Allow to dry.
2. Think about how you’d like to decorate your frame. Use the template on page 9 as a guide or design your own jersey. Sketch your design onto the frame with pencil before painting. Allow to dry.
5. Attach the foam piece to the frame with tacky glue. Allow to dry. Print and cut out a special photo using the photo template as a guide. Slide the photo into your frame.
3. Choose one of the sets of templates provided on page 10. Trace and cut out the shapes onto different coloured foam of your choice.
6. Your Sports Jersey Frame is now ready to display or gift!
Sports Ball Friends
Materials:
• Decofoam Balls – 5cm – Pack of 30 – 12266

1. Decide what type of ball you would like to create. Paint the decofoam ball the base colour of your sports ball. We are creating a basketball, so used orange paint. Allow to dry.
4. Cut a chenille stem into four smaller stems, about 4cm in length each. Match the colour of the chenille stem to the base colour of the ball.
2. Use paint markers to add in details like the seams or pattern of the ball. Allow to dry.
5. Push the chenille stems into the decofoam ball, with two on the bottom for the legs and one on each side to create the arms as shown.
CleverTip: Add some tacky glue where the stem meets the decofoam ball for extra security. Allow to dry.
3. Attach self-adhesive wiggle eyes and draw a nose and mouth with paint markers to create a face. Allow to dry.
6. Your Sports Ball Friend is now ready to display! You can make as many as you’d like to represent different sports.
Soccer Finger Puppets
Materials:

Challenge your friends to a game of finger soccer!
1. Print out the templates provided on page 11. We recommend printing onto cardboard as it provides a sturdy base for decorating.
4. Paint a decofoam ball with white acrylic paint. Allow to dry.
2. Decorate the templates with watercolour. Allow to dry. Cut out the templates.
5. Use a black permanent marker to add details to the soccer ball. Allow to dry.
3. Line up and glue each template to a cardboard finger puppet. Allow to dry. Flip over and decorate the bottom of the finger puppet (these are your players’ shorts). Allow to dry.

Support your favourite sports team and wave around a Team Pennant Flag!
1. Print out the templates provided on page 12 and trace onto coloured felt of your choice. Cut out the shapes.
4. Glue a wooden skewer to the back of the felt flag. Allow to dry.
2. Plan your design on the pennant flag piece. Use felt alphabet and star stickers or cut your own design out of felt. Stick or glue in place with a glue gun and allow to dry.
5. Glue the back piece of felt over the ties and skewer to secure. Allow to dry.
3. Flip your flag over and use the glue gun to attach the rectangle ties over each other as shown. Allow to dry.
6. Your Team Pennant Flag is now ready to use to cheer on your team!
