2. Flatten the clay ball with a rolling pin until it is approximately 5mm thick.

6. Tie a knot on the inside of the sleeve and trim the excess. Fold the triangle over and cut a small slit into the fold, making sure it’s big enough to fit the button.

1. Print and cut out the templates provided on pages 9 and 10. Using a pencil, trace around the templates onto your choice of coloured felt. Cut out the felt shapes.

4. Continue stitching around until you reach your first stitch. Tie a knot to secure. Remove the needle and trim any excess thread. Use a pencil to mark where you would like your button to sit to close the sleeve.

7. Push the button through the slit of the triangle to close. Glue the stamp felt pieces onto the sleeve as shown. Allow to dry. Decorate the front and back of the sleeve with felt stickers.

2. Align the front and back sleeve pieces of felt, making sure the triangle is sitting upwards as shown.

5. Thread a needle with embroidery thread and tie a knot at the end. Starting from inside the sleeve, sew up and through one hole of a button. Sew back down into the front of the sleeve through the opposite button hole and repeat to secure.

8. Your Felt Book Sleeve is now ready to gift!

2. Loop the end of the left side of the wire through the middle bead and pull through.

3. Repeat Step 2 with the right side.

5. Loop the wire and thread back up through three of the beads and into the first bead of the bow on the same side.
