Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in computer science, software engineering
undergraduate and graduate courses. Moreover, the candidate must participate in faculty committees, continuous improvement and assessment activities, outreach activities, and support general service in the department. ANUNCIO DE EMPLEO El Departamento de Ingeniería Civil y Agrimensura de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Mayagüez (RUM), está buscando candidatos para un puesto de Catedrático Auxiliar en Ingeniería Civil o áreas relacionadas. El puesto está diseñado para reunir a profesores especializados en ingeniería ambiental y recursos de aguas que colaboren en un entorno multidisciplinario. REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS Los solicitantes deben contar con un Doctorado en Ingeniería Civil o áreas relacionadas de una institución acreditada y se priorizarán los candidatos con un historial comprobado en investigación, publicación, búsqueda de fondos externos esenciales. Se considerará altamente deseable el conocimiento práctico o la disposición de aprender español. Además, los candidatos deben demostrar capacidad para trabajar en un entorno multidisciplinario y potencial de excelencia en la enseñanza, la investigación y la innovación en áreas relevantes de los recursos de aguas y la ingeniería de sistemas o campos relacionados.
