INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Fan Court uniform guide for 2026 to 2027
Uniform is an important aspect of school life - a shared dress code makes clothing choices and daily decisions easier for all, a sense of belonging to the school community, a shared identity and gives pupils a smart appearance and putting them in the right frame of mind for learning.
It is important for us that all pupils feel comfortable in their uniforms, ensuring they are practical for the demands of the day while maintaining a high standard both on and off campus
Please support us in ensuring that all uniforms, sports kits, equipment, and stationery (including shoes and socks) are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
It is reasonable to expect that uniform will wear out due to how often it is worn, the considerable wear and tear of school life and how quickly our pupils grow during their time in the Fan Court Items should be replaced when they are worn/torn or if the pupil has outgrown them For example, it is normal to expect trousers, school shoes and shirts to last around an academic year, skirts, games shorts and pullovers to last 2 academic years but this will vary of course.

From this year, Claremont will be working with Perry Uniform to supply new items of uniform.
Perry provides free delivery and free returns, along with an open-ended returns policy for unworn items from the uniform list, regardless of their value. They also offer a nametape sew ocess for families.

School shoes must support and securely enclose growing feet. Footwear must be marked in indelible ink or a nametape glued underneath the tongues or special shoe labels. The below styles are acceptable for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2:
