Founded in 1953 as St. Vincent's, the area had previously been served by three separate clubs: Brandon Rovers, Blacks and Whites, and Tinnahinch. The St. Vincent's name was replaced by Graignamanagh in 1967. The club's honours include a Kilkenny Senior Football Championship in 1956, a Junior Hurling Championship in 1972, and three Intermediate Hurling Championships in 1976, 1980, and 1985, making the Intermediate Championship their most successful competition. They remain an active part of the GAA community in County Kilkenny. They were Reidy Tournament Cup winners in 2025.
