The City of Cleveland Heights goes green! Over 2000 solar panels are being installed across three city buildings (City Hall, Community Center, and Service Garage) utilizing renewable solar energy and reducing the city’s carbon footprint. This is not only good for the environment but will result in lower energy costs for the city.

All Are Welcome

I

n September, the City launched a new initiative designed to attract new residents and visitors - All Are Welcome. Physical reminders of what Cleveland Heights is all about and why people choose to live here or visit or start a business can be seen throughout the community on window displays, bus wraps, videos, and discussions on social media. All Are Welcome is a celebration of our diversity and a display of how much we value a strong sense of community. The All Are Welcome video, the anchor of the initiative, (www.clevelandheights.com/AllAreWelcome/) has been very well received not only by current residents, but by many who have relocated as well. The City of Cleveland Heights has always been a place that strives to be a city where diversity is valued and openness, inclusivity, and respect are cherished traits. We appreciate all that makes Cleveland Heights special and wanted to let people outside of our city learn a little about what makes us so unique. Despite the challenges over the past nine months from COVID-19, we are hopeful that there will be much to look forward to in the year ahead, such as embracing the vibrant entertainment options and community festivals and celebrations, including our upcoming 100-year anniversary of becoming a City in 2021.
