The Announcements: Educational and Social were the Institute’s first prospectuses. The first departments at the Institute were Mechanical Engineering and Metal Trades, Artistic Crafts for Industry, Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering, Horology, Electro-chemistry and Domestic Economy. Details of classes and the Institute’s facilities are outlined in these early handbooks.
