Platform, lift & bluestone modifications in the final stages – to be completed by Q1 2024 All Appendix 26 works are complete, except installation of the fire ceiling (completed by midDecember) Handover documentation underway with final Auckland Council inspection & sign-off by January 2024 Signalling cabling now being installed by Siemens under a KiwiRail contract Lots of low voltage & communications cables being pulled
Questions • Attendee: How are the naming conventions going to work in the future e.g. Waitematā (Britomart)? o MHC: The station has been officially renamed to Waitematā Station (Britomart) but the implementation and any future change is dependent on AT. o SL: The station has been renamed but the precinct is still called Britomart. 3
Waitematā Station (Britomart) works: Martinus
Martinus were not present at the CLG. SL from CRLL presented on their behalf and encouraged anyone with concerns to contact Martinus directly. Milestones achieved in last 3 months • New overhead lines installed • Completing cable containment works, signal ducting and inspection pits in the tunnels • During BOLs (Block of Lines): • removal and installation of new track • removal of ballast • realignment of track and overhead power • installing new hoardings and barrier rails between track 4 and 5 • concrete pour to the new track 5 • and extension to Platform 5. • Continued with an excellent standard of safety management and control with over 100,000 safe working hours in the last year Works planned for next 3 months • Complete platform extension to Platform 5

Waitematā Station Plaza – Simon Lough
SL shared the below render of the future plaza space behind Waitematā Station.
Temporary station deconstruction and reinstatement • Nov–Dec. 2023 Share designs and discuss construction process with neighbours and stakeholders • Dec–Jan 2023 Auckland Transport prepare the site for deconstruction e.g. capping services • Jan–Mar 2024 CRL deconstructs temporary structure and vacates the plaza • Apr 2024 – early/mid 2025 Auckland Council undertake physical works to reinstate the station plaza and upgrade Tyler Street SL provided further details on plaza deconstruction and reinstatement via answering the below questions. Questions • Attendee: Where is this plaza space located? o SL: Confirmed that the plaza is behind Waitematā Station, between Tyler and Galway Streets. • Attendee: Queried how traffic will be affected on Tyler Street. Attendee: Queried if nearby residents will receive notice before Tyler Street is dug up. o SL: Confirmed that the answer is yes. Attendee: Queried if these works would impact the placemaking event currently taking place in Te Komititanga. o SL: Answered that he does not have the specific details, but that Council is working with CRLL on temporary station demolition and would also be across the events at Te Komititanga, to ensure they would not impact each other. Attendee: Query about cleaning of Endeans building. o SL: Advised attendee to directly contact Richard Jenkins from CRLL. o Note: Attendee has since gotten in contact regarding this query. Attendee: What input will neighbours have into the procurement process for the plaza reinstatement? o SL: None directly. However, the project manager will engage with stakeholders including neighbours.

SL: Using the diagram below, SL explained how work trucks will mostly be parked off street. The majority of works will be inside the existing hoardings. The Martinus site manager will also be available 24/7 by phone if any issues arise.
Attendee: Concern around Te Komititanga bollards, especially for emergency vehicle access. o SH: To follow up internally at AT.
