Waitematā Station Plaza & Tyler Street Upgrade –Construction Update
• Access along Tyler Street has moved to the south to create space for construction along the northern edge of the street.
• The behaviour of drivers travelling to and from Tyler Street buildings and businesses has been exemplary and is very much appreciated.
• For pedestrian safety, there is a fenced walkway along the length of Tyler Street. Please don’t walk in the vehicle access lane.
• Increased enforcement of parking on Tyler Street has been implemented and observations suggest it has helped resolve illegal parking and provided easier access to 152 Quay Street and Endeans Building.
• Working hours are generally 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and 8am to late afternoon on Saturday (if required). No work on site 22 December 2024 – 5 January 2025.
