Provided an overview of dynamic testing progress
Shared an updated photo of the maramataka artwork in Beresford Square
Station Entrances and Urban Realm – Michael Coup
Provided an overview of progress, including approach to finishing back of house floors that will eventuate in handover to AT & KiwiRail
Highlights at Mercury Lane include the start of installation of the kauri snail feature ceiling, escalator cladding and fit-out, tiling throughout, commissioning of tunnel ventilation systems, completion of areas of battened ceilings in adits 3 & 4, 700km+ cable containment, installation of Public Information Displays (PID)
Highlights at Beresford Square include completion of cladding, glass canopy installation, completion of entrance, installation of the moon elements of the maramataka artwork, commissioning of escalators
Urban realm highlights include construction of the tree pit, progress on the seating at Beresford Square, planter installation at Mercury Lane
Demobilisation has started at Beresford Square and Mercury Lane. Noise shed has been removed and sold for reuse. Started breaking out concrete at the site area in Beresford Square. Five trees will be installed in the tree pit.
Update provided on the design of seat outside Beresford Square entrance.

Pupurangi snail installation has commenced and photos were shared

Are there water foundations in the stations?
Yes, and a dog bowl fountain!
Will there be retail spaces?
Yes there are two – one at Mercury Lane and one in the service block behind Beresford Square.
Auckland Transport questions
Will any drinking fountains be installed?
There will be a drinking fountain installed at the top end of Mercury Lane closer to Karangahape Road.
