Alan presented on the SIBD annual review for C2

Carol asked if the stats for complaints related to all complaints received in general or all of the complaints related only to C2 - Alan answered that it was all of the complaints received

Noel expressed concerns over the metal containers on Lower Queen St, the mud run off from the Fletchers site, the graffiti on the hoardings around C1 and the lights not working on the hoardings - Carol answered that the containers were part of the Fletchers work site, however his concerns would be taken to them as well as the CE of CRL - Dale confirmed he would raise this issue with Fletchers in their next meeting

Carol advised that some of the lights on the hoardings have been stolen, hence why there are some missing The concerns around graffiti were noted and will be passed on to the Council grafitti clean up team when they appear on hoardings

Rachel presented on the SIBD annual review for C1

Carol asked as to the nature of the harassment referred to in the complaints statistics shown - Rachel answered that it was around the traffic controllers directing pedestrians to safe routes / crossing points on Tyler, Galway and Commerce St when there was construction happening there

Rachel advised that the glare from the temporary station entrance roof wasn’t anticipated when the SIBD DWP was prepared and a complaint was received about this from a business on Galway St. This was mitigated by installing blinds and an air conditioning unit in the affected office. An anti-glare coating was also applied to the roof of the station

Carol asked if the stats for complaints related to all complaints received in general or all of the complaints related only to C1 - Rachel advised that all 24 complaints received were specifically about C1

Carol presented on the mitigation methods undertaken by CRL to support businesses on Albert St

Chris commented that the communication about CRL works had been well done and that he enjoys the website and construction updates. He added that he could see the CRL team was putting their best foot forward and believed that residents in the city centre haven’t received fair treatment but felt this wasn’t from CRL - Chris added that he had two noise complaints but felt that was good considering the scale of the project

Chris commented that he thought it would be good to have a drop off area outside the Stamford Residences Carol advised that CRL will return the streets as advised by AT

Chris asked if there was any info regarding the Watercare drainage works happening - Alan answered that he would get this info to Chris
