The Finance Department is responsible for maintaining the budget and general ledger, financial reporting, investing surplus funds, purchasing, utility billing and cashier/customer service duties.

The City has 401 full-time employees.

An enterprise fund is one which receives its funding through user fees or other specific revenue sources and must be managed separately from the general fund.

The Venice Farmers Market is open 8 a.m.-
