Summer 2026
The sounds of summer are here at last. Gazebo Musikk, Farmers Market, Splash Pad, Troll Beach soon to be followed by the Taste of Stoughton, Catfish River Music Festival and the Stoughton Fair. Lennar has completed their remaining single-family homes in Kettle Park West (KPW) Phase 2. DR Horton has pulled building permits for about half of their seventy lots. The city has been completing the Master Plan for Tee Naasak Park. The final piece is the park shelter. Stoughton Gateway, the Stoughton Trailers’ development, is making great progress. Roads, ponds and utilities are nearly complete. Single-family lots and single-family homes are for sale. The Authentix by Continental (312 multi-family apartment project with twelve buildings) construction is well underway. The Phase 1 of Riverhavn, which includes 120 multi-family apartment units on the Yahara River is expected to begin in the fall. The Mandt Park Master Plan Phase 2a is completed, including a new trail, shelter and parking lot lights. New businesses are under construction, have opened or will be expanded since our last publication including Goose Crown Inn, Menzel’s Amish Furniture, Ben’s Small Engine, Other notable accomplishments include: • Snow Emergency Alternate Side Street Parking ordinance • Special Event Permit updated • Cash Handing, Debt Write off policies updated • Cash Donation Policy established • Sold 2-acre lot for Business Incubators • Added Adhoc Committees to ordinances • Level Up Fitness building approved Please join me for “Coffee with the Mayor” at The Senior Center and follow us on Facebook-City of Stoughton, WI
