As we reflect on 2025, it has truly been a year of exciting progress and momentum for Sanger. Our community continues to experience meaningful growth, strengthened partnerships, and new opportunities that position Sanger for long-term success.

A major highlight of the year was the grand opening of Tom Thumb, bringing high-quality grocery options, new jobs, and added convenience for our residents, while signaling strong market confidence in Sanger. We also launched the Sanger Workforce Achievement Grant (SWAG) program, created to support career and technology education at Sanger High School to invest directly in the next generation of our workforce. Behind the scenes, we have continued supporting local businesses and advancing several key projects that will help shape Sanger’s economic future. Perhaps most notably, we kicked off development of the EDC’s first-ever Strategic Plan, which will guide our priorities and investments in the years ahead. Heading into 2026 Sanger is growing-new businesses, new neighborhoods, and new investments are taking shape across our community. Thank you for being part of this progress.
