Construction underway to enhance road, water and electrical systems Construction season is underway in Penticton, with crews advancing key infrastructure projects to improve roads, pathways and water systems across the city. Major projects include upgrades on Eckhardt Ave., safety improvements at Green Ave. and Skaha Lake Rd., and a watermain replacement in the Wiltse neighbourhood. These projects will renew aging infrastructure while enhancing safety, accessibility and service reliability.
As construction continues, residents can expect traffic disruptions, detours and delays. Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are encouraged to plan ahead, follow posted signage and allow extra travel time near work zones. The City thanks residents, businesses and visitors for their patience as these important infrastructure investments move forward.
