Paramount Chamber 8th Annual Job Fair A Success More than 400 job seekers and 55 employers and training institutions attended the Paramount Chamber Job Fair this year. “The event was a huge success, there was a steady flow throughout the day and everyone seemed to be taking advantage of the different services offered at the event,” said Chamber President, Leonard Crespo. The event which was sponsored by Paramount Petroleum included resume preparation and resume

critiques in addition to employment opportunities. According to Executive Director, Peggy Lemons the event has grown every year. “This is the third year the fair has been held at Paramount Park. The first five years we held the Job Fair at Progress Park, but we outgrew the facility. We reached vendor capacity at Paramount Park this year, so if it continues to grow we will need to think about moving outdoors.”

Dozens of Job Fair visitors had their resumes prepared free of charge.
