Paramount Chamber of Commerce (paramountchamber.com) • Serving the community since 1947 • December 2020 The Santa Train, a Paramount holiday tradition for more than 50 years, will once again travel the streets of our city—but this year will be a little different due to safety precautions because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. See details below.

For more information about holiday events in Paramount, see “From the Mayor’s Desk” on page 3 and the latest issue of CityScape on page 13. Happy Holidays, and please take necessary precautions to stay safe and well.

ANTA TRAIN DRIVE-THROUGH—This year The Santa Train will follow the same traditional routes throughout our Paramount neighborhoods—but very slowly and without stopping. The Train will operate beginning on Monday, December 7, to Thursday, December 10, starting at 6 p.m. each night. See CityScape on page 13 for the route schedule. Everyone is welcome to greet Santa by waving from a safe distance in front of their homes as he and his helpers glide by. Please remember to wear a mask if outdoors and when in proximity to non-household members, and please maintain social distancing of six feet between individuals. The traditional apples and candy canes will be handed out at the Breakfast with Santa Drive-Through event (see page 13 for details and visit paramountcity.com for additional information).
