Lunch with Speaker Rendon

On July 13th, Assemblyman Anthony Rendon came to share a few topics with the Paramount business community at the Northgate Gonzalez Plaza. He spoke about the importance of small businesses in the State of California. Rendon also shared the concerns and the challenges that the government is handling with Measure H, which deals with the ever-growing homeless population. He commented on the affects that all residents and business share and ways that our tax dollars are being directed to change and educate regarding the crisis. He was able to

answer questions and meet with individuals. The Networking & Tacos Lunch was sponsored by AppleCare Medical Management, a part of OptumCare, and supported by SoCal Gas Company. Attendees were served a taco buffet by Northgate Gonzalez Markets. Northgate founder Miguel Gonzalez attended, and awards were presented on behalf of the Paramount Chamber of Commerce, the City of Paramount, Congresswoman Roybal-Allard, Senator Lara, and Assemblyman Rendon, for their tremendous contributions and impact on the city.
