CITY OF PARAMOUNT
he Paramount Education Partnership (PEP) has, over the years, given 157 scholarships worth $425,000 to local students who are attending a university, community college or trade school to help cover their costs. For some of these students, it has made the difference in whether or not they could continue their education. For all recipients, it has been vital assistance.
On April 26, PEP will hold its 10th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Progress Park Plaza, 15500 Downey Avenue. This year’s theme will be Mardi Gras. There are many opportunities for businesses and individuals to sponsor and donate to the event. All donations will be made to the PEP 501c3 non-profit entity, and will be tax deductible.
The generosity of the Paramount business community has made these dreams of going to college become a reality.
The fundraiser features great food and lots of fun with a variety of casino-type games, all for a very good cause.
This April will provide a fresh opportunity to boost another group of individuals who are working to improve their education and forge a bright future.
Your donation will be an important investment in our community.
