Christmas Train Train Christmas SantaoftoParamount Greet Kids of in Paramount in Three-Decade Santa to Greet Kids Three-Decade TraditionTradition As it has for more than 35 years, the Santa Express Christmas Train will spread joy – along with apples and candy canes – to the kids of Paramount all over town this season. From December 10th through 13th, the engine, gingerbread-house boxcar, sleigh car and caboose will travel every neighborhood in the City with jolly old Mr. Claus and his team of elves. An average of 25,000 kids and their parents (mostly kids) come out for the chance to talk with Santa over the four days and nights. It’s a colorful event full of cheer and goodwill that has been a delight for generations of Paramount children. Below is this year’s schedule of stops. For more information, call (562) 220-2121.

As we head into the holiday season, let’s all remember that parties, while of course enjoyable and traditional, can sometimes get out of hand and bother neighbors. In Paramount, if a call for disturbing the peace comes into the Sheriff’s Station, deputies will go to the location and issue a first-warning notice. If a return visit is made, the property owner can be liable for a fine.

If there are such disturbances coming from the same location over an extended period of time, deputies will focus on solving the problem with those causing it.

Celebraciones Festivas Al acercarse la temporada festiva, recordemos que las celebraciones, aunque divertidas y tradicionales, en ocasiones pueden ocasionar conflictos y molestar a los vecinos. En Paramount, si llega una llamada a la estación de los alguaciles (Paramount Sheriff’s Station), los oficiales irán al domicilio a dar un primer aviso. Si los oficiales tienen que regresar, los dueños de la propiedad pueden recibir una multa.
