The Cultural Arts team is proud to partner with local collector and business owner, Jack Scharr and Fine Art Limited to bring a collection of Olympic Art to our city galleries. Did you know that art competitions were held at the Olympics? In ancient Greece, art and sport went hand in hand, with the ideal way to achieve harmony by exercising both body and mind. We’re thrilled to showcase sculptures, paintings, and award-winning posters at City Hall, Krekel Civic Center, and the Renaud Center all year to honor the cultural connection the Olympics provides. The Park Passport will return again this year, proudly sporting the Gold Medal Summer theme! Make sure to be on the lookout for additional information about this year’s passport, our all new Get Out and Play Days, and exciting events and programs to get you in the golden spirit!
