Did you get to take a road trip this summer? If you joined us for the 2025 Heritage and Freedom Fest, you certainly got to experience the Great American Road Trip with thousands of O’Fallon neighbors on Main Street. With great festive floats – and for a first time –walking balloons!
Summer in O’Fallon is always fantastic, but the fall season brings with it some cherished traditions. Our Fall into the Arts festival will take place in O’Day Park on Sunday, September 21. O’Day Park will be taken over by fine arts, live music, local food trucks, and more
O’Fallon Theatre Works keeps the hits coming. We heard wonderful reviews about Six: Teen Edition, and they are hard at work preparing for their next big show, The Curious Savage. With warmth, humor and dignity, The Curious Savage celebrates those who are often overlooked, emphasizing kindness, affection, and empathy in a world that too often rewards greed and ambition.
If you’re like me, you love the crisp fall air, so what better way to experience it than at Dames Park for Food Truck Fright. We love Food Truck Frenzy in Sports Park in the summer, now we can enjoy this spooktacular version on Friday, October 10 in Dames Park. For the first time, we’re featuring a film at this event. The kids will love Pixar’s Coco, so don’t forget your lawn chair!
Once again, November 11, we will celebrate and honor our service members on Veterans Day at O’Fallon’s Veterans Memorial Walk. And, if you are ready for the holiday season, don’t forget about Wednesday, November 19— the Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Hall. This festive tradition is the perfect way for families to kick off their winter traditions. If the holiday season keeps you busy, take a break and join us for the 24th annual Celebration of Lights at Fort Zumwalt Park.
O’Fallon continues to be a place we are proud to call home. Just this year, O’Fallon was ranked #1 on “Best Places to Live in Missouri,” ranked #29 on “Best Small Cities to Live,” and ranked #20 on “Best Small Cities to Live” by U.S. News & World Report.
I look forward to seeing you and your families at our wonderful fall events.

The City of O’Fallon Parks and Recreation Departments welcomes people of all abilities to participate in our programs and services. If you or someone you know has a disability and you would like to participate in one of our programs, please let us know how we can best meet your needs. The City of O’Fallon fully complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in making reasonable accommodations to facilitate participation. The Parks and Recreation Departments is involved in a St. Charles County-wide Recreation Inclusion Partnership, which provides an Inclusion Coordinator to assist with these accommodations. This information is available in alternate formats upon request.
RESIDENT ACCOUNTS
All O’Fallon residents are eligible for resident rates on facility rentals, programs, and admissions with a Resident Privilege Account. Apply for your free Resident Privilege Account at the Renaud Center. Residents ages 16 and under must be accompanied by a resident parent or resident guardian to obtain a Resident Privilege Account. The account expires one year from the date issued.
Definition of a “resident”
“Residents” are people who live within the City of O’Fallon’s corporate limits. City limits and Post Office boundaries are not the same, so it is possible to have an O’Fallon address, yet live outside the City, or have a postal address in an adjacent municipality, yet live in O’Fallon.
Dardenne Prairie residents are eligible for the discounted O’Fallon resident pricing for memberships! Ask about receiving the discount when you register.
If you’re employed in the City of O’Fallon, you qualify for a discount on a membership at the Renaud Center. The Corporate Membership program is available to full and part-time employees (but not seasonal or temporary employees, sorry), who work for a business, non-profit, or government agency in O’Fallon city limits.
The City of O’Fallon welcomes adults and children with disabilities and is dedicated to providing recreation and health resources to the entire community.
Proof of residency
To obtain a Resident Privilege Account, you must present both proof of identity and proof of residency. Acceptable forms of photo ID, which must show your current City of O’Fallon address, include:
• Missouri driver’s license or identification card
• College student identification card
• Military identification card
In addition, residents need one of the following with the same address as the photo ID:
• An unpaid utility bill
• A personal check with pre-printed name and address
• A current auto or voter registration
• A current personal property tax statement
• The most recent personal income tax statement
• A current rental lease agreement
• A “resident family” is defined as 2–5 people* living at the same address within O’Fallon city limits.
• A “non-resident family” is defined as 2–5 people* living at the same address outside of O’Fallon city limits.
• All family members must be declared when a family account is established. Inappropriate use of membership ID and/or privileges may result in termination or suspension of the membership.
*Additional individual family members (ages 3+) may be added to a Renaud Center membership at the cost of $25 for residents, $50 for nonresidents.
To help those with disabilities benefit from all the choices offered by the Parks and Recreation Departments, Inclusive Recreation Coordinator Brita Weight will work directly with participants, families, caregivers, friends, teachers, and Parks and Recreation Department staff to resolve concerns and ensure that appropriate individualized accommodations are in place. Through open communication and by working cooperatively, challenges to inclusion can be overcome. Examples of accommodations include, but are not limited to:
