LIBRARY CARD SIGN-UP MONTH This month, libraries nationwide join together to remind you of the benefits of having a library card. Anyone who lives, works, or attends school in Maricopa County is eligible for a free library card with us. Already have a card? Tell a friend what you love about the library and encourage them to sign up. What can you do with a library card? Check out up to 70 items at a time Download books, audiobooks, magazines, movies, and music Get a Culture Pass (free tickets to participating local museums) Check out nontraditional "stuff" (seeds for your garden, cake pans, hiking kits, etc.) Access LinkedIn Learning for lessons in business, software, technology, and creative skills ...and so much more! WRITER IN RESIDENCE September through December | Gateway Library Aspiring writers can sharpen their craft through our Writer in Residence program. Author Kara McDowell will offer one-on-one consultations and workshops for emerging and experienced writers.
