Do you offer educational materials for self-guided tours?
Once we know the desired outcome of your visit –and whether your learning goal is curriculum linked or more informal – we can supply your classroom with educational materials on the day to support your visit.
Is there somewhere my classroom can take breaks for lunch?
Yes – we have a dedicated breakout zone for classrooms while visiting QVMAG to have morning tea and lunch*. We also have a bag drop-off zone, where students can leave their bags before exploring our sites. *Breakout space is subject to availability and will be confirmed at the time of booking.
What is the earliest time our experience can begin?
QVMAG opens at 10am daily to the public and closes at 4pm. Schools are encouraged to arrange transport to arrive at 9:45am, so students can disembark buses, headcounts can be completed, and teacher briefings can be undertaken at the front door prior to entry.
Can I have a blend of hosted and self-guided activities?
You sure can. Simply choose a selection of offerings from our available list – and we’ll work with you to create a schedule that suits the goals and purpose of your visit.
Can I book for multiple groups at once?
Absolutely! It’s common for multiple classrooms to visit together and rotate through a set of activities. Speak with our team to see how we can create an experience for your school.
