EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PURPOSE The service strengthens community safety and resilience by preparing for, responding to, and supporting recovery from emergency events. It ensures Council meets its legislative responsibilities, maintains internal capability, and works with partners to protect people, property, and critical infrastructure.
