RENTAL HOURS & MINIMUMS
Events must begin after 5 p.m. and must conclude by midnight. Seasonal variations in start times may apply and must be approved in advance by the Event Coordinator.
PAYMENT & DEPOSIT
A $250 deposit is required for all special events and a $1,000 deposit is required for all weddings. This ensures use of the facility on your specific date. A signed contract is also required for all events. The deposit will be refunded via a deduction from your final bill if you abide by our policies and no damages occur. All deposits are refundable up to 30 days prior to your event. Payment is due at the conclusion of your event. We accept cash, check or credit card payments.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Venue must be notified thirty (30) days in advance of the cancellation of a scheduled event for a full refund of the rental fee and security deposit. Cancellations received less than thirty (30) days before an event will result in the forfeiture of the full rental deposit.
ALCOHOL POLICY
The Den at Fox Hollow and Homestead Grill are the only entities licensed to sell and serve alcohol on the premises. No outside alcohol may be brought onto the property by any guest or invitee. Guests may be required to present valid identification, and all alcohol service complies with Colorado state law which prohibits the sale of alcohol to persons under 21 years of age.
CATERING & VENDORS
Outside food and beverages are not permitted, with the exception of special occasion desserts and small candy favors. A $30 cake cutting fee applies if this service is requested. All food and beverage services are provided through the venue. The Event Coordinator will discuss food and beverage choices upon reservation.
TABLES, CHAIRS & RENTALS
The pavilion is furnished with wood picnic tables. If alternative tables or chairs are desired, renters are responsible for securing rentals through a vendor of their choice. There is a $300 fee for the removal, replacement, or rearrangement of picnic tables, as well as a $75 fee for ceremony chair setup and removal.
SETUP, ACCESS & VENUE RESTRICTIONS
Event set-up may begin 1 hour prior to the event start time. City policy requires that one space (indoor room or patio) remain available for golfers during peak season. Two venues may not be rented simultaneously during peak season. The West patio at Fox Hollow is not available for private rental.
DECORATIONS & EQUIPMENT
Sparkles, confetti, rice, birdseed, or similar materials are not permitted. Room setup and layout are determined by the Event Coordinator.
PARKING & ACCESSIBILITY
Parking is available on site. Access to specific spaces may be limited due to ongoing golf course operations.
FACILITY USE
Final food and beverage selections are due a minimum of fourteen days prior to the event. A confirmed guest count is required seven days prior to the event. Final charges are based on the actual confirmed attendance or the previous guest count, whichever is higher.
CLEANUP & CONDITION OF FACILITY
Renters are responsible for leaving the venue in good condition. Any damages or excessive cleanup may result in additional charges.
TAXES & SERVICE CHARGES
City sales tax is applied to all food sales. A 20% gratuity charge will be applied to all food and beverage purchases. If the minimum food and beverage charge is not met, a service charge will be applied. The rental fee, tax and gratuity are not included in the minimum.
RENTAL HOURS & MINIMUMS
A three-hour minimum rental period is required for all events. Rental time must include setup and cleanup. The rental space is also available for the wedding rehearsal and is limited to one hour. Advanced arrangements must be made.
PAYMENT & DEPOSIT
A $250 security deposit is required to reserve the event date. Rental fees and deposits are subject to the terms outlined in the Facility Rental Agreement.
CANCELLATION POLICY

CATERING & VENDORS
Renters may use any vendor of their choice, including caterers and rental companies. Vendors must check in at the Visitor Center and comply with site access and delivery procedures.
TABLES, CHAIRS & RENTALS
For outdoor events, tables and chairs must be rented through a vendor of the renter’s choice. For indoor events, tables and chairs are available with optional setup and tear-down service for a flat fee. Large tents measuring more than 10’ x 10’ must be inspected and permitted by West Metro Fire Department. Ground staking of tents is not allowed.
SETUP, ACCESS & VEHICLES
Setup times and delivery schedules must be arranged at least two weeks prior to the event. Vehicle access is limited and must be pre-approved. Only a limited number of vehicles may enter the property for loading and unloading, and parking on-site is not reserved for private events.
DECORATIONS & EQUIPMENT
Nothing may be taped, stapled, nailed, or attached to buildings or property. Signs are not allowed without approval. The following are prohibited: glitter, confetti, stickers, smoke machines, pyrotechnics, candles, open flames, and ground staking. Large tents may require inspection and permitting. Propane grills are allowed; charcoal grills are not.
PARKING & ACCESSIBILITY
140 parking spots are available but are not reserved for private events. The Visitor Center is staffed during rental events, and renters must check in with staff upon arrival.
FACILITY USE
Music must remain at reasonable noise levels and not disrupt other users of the venue. Renters must stay on designated roadways and parking areas and may not remove tables from other areas of the property.
CLEANUP & CONDITION OF FACILITY
Cleanup must be completed within the rental period. The facility and grounds must be left in the same condition as found. Excessive cleanup or damage may result in deductions from the damage deposit. Report any noted damages to facility personnel.
DEPARTURE CHECKLIST
Renters must remove decorations and personal items, return furniture to original locations, dispose of trash properly, and clean all used areas, including kitchen spaces. Ice must be disposed of on cement surfaces rather than grass. Floors must be swept and/or vacuumed.
RENTAL HOURS & MINIMUMS
The Stone House is available for daily rental from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. with a four-hour minimum required Monday – Thursday and a full eight-hour rental Friday – Sunday and holidays. The maximum capacity of the Stone House is 35 inside of the house per fire code regulations and 100 people maximum outside in the fenced yard.
PAYMENT & DEPOSIT
50% of the rental fee is due at the time of reservation, with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to the event.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations received 14 days prior to an event will receive a full refund except for a $20 service charge. Cancellations received less than 14 days prior to a scheduled reservation are nonrefundable.
ALCOHOL POLICY
Alcoholic beverages other than beer require City approval and an alcohol permit. The permit fee is $100.
CATERING & VENDORS
Food may be brought in or catered by a vendor of the renter’s choice. No resale of food or beverages is permitted without special City approval and proper licensing.

The Stone House includes 56 stacking chairs, seven 6-foot folding tables, a compact refrigerator, limited counter space, sink, four outdoor picnic tables, outside power outlet, restrooms in basement, air conditioning/heating system, and a couch and coffee table in upstairs changing room.
PROHIBITED ITEMS & ACTIVITIES
Smoking, rice, birdseed, confetti, open fires, staked tents, open fires, fireworks, torches and bouncy castles are prohibited.
SETUP, ACCESS & VEHICLES
Access to the building is limited to the hours reserved. Early entry is not permitted and may result in additional charges. Driving or unloading on the lawn is not allowed. Pick up the key from the City of Lakewood’s Community Resources Department between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m., Monday – Friday on the day prior to your reservation. If your reservation is for Friday evening, Saturday or Sunday, you must pick up the key on Friday by 12 p.m. You may not enter the Stone House until 9 a.m. on the day of your rental. You may return the key during office hours Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. the next business day after your rental. The address is: City of Lakewood, Civic Center South, Community Resources, 480 S. DECORATIONS & EQUIPMENT
Decorations may not be taped, nailed, or otherwise attached to the structure. Exterior lighting is limited; battery-powered lighting may be used outdoors.
PARKING & ACCESSIBILITY
Parking is available on site but not reserved for rentals and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the historic nature of the structure, the Stone House is not ADA accessible.
FACILITY USE
Cooking is not permitted inside the building. Propane grills may be used outdoors; charcoal grills are not allowed. Music must remain at reasonable levels and not disrupt surrounding areas. Indoor restroom use is limited due to the age of the plumbing. Nothing except toilet paper should be flushed down the toilet. For groups of 76-100 people, the Bear Creek Greenbelt Park permanent restrooms will be unlocked for use. They are located just south of the Stone House.
POWER & ELECTRICAL USE
Electrical capacity inside the house is limited. High-draw appliances such as coffee pots and crock pots are not permitted indoors. Outdoor electrical boxes located near the front entrance must be used as the primary power source and must be unlocked and locked upon arrival and departure with the key provided.
SECURITY & ACCESS CONTROL
The Stone House is monitored by a security system connected to the Lakewood Police Department. Renters are responsible for properly disarming and re-arming the system according to provided instructions. Failure to secure the building or alarm system may result in additional fees. If the services of a watchman are required, the City of Lakewood will not assume the responsibility for arrangements. The renter shall assume any and all costs for such services.
CLEANUP & CONDITION OF FACILITY
The facility and grounds must be left in the same condition as found. Excessive cleanup, damage, or indications of early entry may result in additional charges.
DAMAGE FEE
Report any noted damages immediately by emailing CRInfo@ LakewoodCO.gov with pictures. A damage fee may be assessed if damage occurs concurrent with the cost of repairs, or if any of the following instances occur:
º A damage fee of $120 will be charged if you fail to pick up your key and have to call Facility Maintenance to unlock the facility for you.
º Failure to lock the building and set the alarm, as well as locking the outdoor electrical boxes will result in a $60 charge for each occurrence.
º An appropriate charge will also be made if the building or grounds are left in such condition that excessive cleanup time is required.
º Early entry into the Stone House prior to 9 a.m. on the day of the rental will result in an $80 charge.
º All trash must be placed in trash bags (bring your own) and placed in the bin outside, located on the east side of the building. It must be locked with the key provided upon departure. Do not use the trash can as a dumpster. A fee of $150 will be assessed if trash is improperly disposed of in the outside bin.
DEPARTURE CHECKLIST
All decorations and personal items must be removed at the conclusion of the rental on the day of rental. Furniture must be returned to its original location, sink area cleaned, floors swept with a soft broom, trash disposed of properly, windows secured, thermostat adjusted, doors locked, alarm activated, and outdoor electrical boxes and outdoor trash bin locked prior to departure.

Permit fees apply, and damage deposit amounts increase when alcohol is served. No one under the age of 21 may consume or serve alcohol. Serving alcohol must end one hour prior to the end of the rental and will be monitored by the rental group.
CATERING & VENDORS
Renters may provide their own food or use a caterer of their choice. Use of table coverings is recommended when serving food to protect facility surfaces.

RENTAL HOURS & MINIMUMS
Park shelters may be rented daily May – September from 6 a.m. – 10 p.m., October, March and April from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m., and November – February from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Rental fees do not include the daily vehicle entrance fees. Every vehicle entering the park is required to have a valid day pass. General Admission is $10/car. Peak Pricing is $15/car on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend. Seniors over 62 and persons with disabilities are $5/car. Ask about pre-paid passes when making a reservation.

Glass containers, open fires, fireworks/open carrying of firearms, commercial activities, off-leash pets or pets in the water and inflatable fun castles at Skunk Hollow and Meadowlark Cove are prohibited. Inflatable fun castles are allowed at Coyote Crossing, Mountain View and Pelican Point with prior approval.
