Kelowna's Event Strategy, developed in 2022, supports a timely and philosophical shift in how events can help advance priorities in our community. The Strategy supports event development initiatives and guides decision making to help animate public spaces and bring vibrancy to our community.
The development of the first-ever Event Strategy for Kelowna was led by the City and included the involvement of industry professionals, public engagement, and consultation with key stakeholders, as well as being informed through municipal comparisons and market research.
