How to Make a Reservation
Multiuse Buildings and Rooms
For recreation rentals or Heritage Senior Center rentals, contact the respective center directly. Building rental reservations can be made in person, online at CityofIrving.org/IrvingRec or by calling (972) 721-2501.
An application, fee and deposit are required within one week of reservation and must be submitted online or in person to the Parks and Recreation Department at City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd. The reservation will be cancelled for nonpayment on or after the seventh day after reservation is made or prior to reservation date, whichever is earlier.
Note the use of alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, amplified music and/or live music is prohibited in multiuse buildings and recreation centers.
Rules and guidelines may vary depending on facility requested. For more detailed information, call (972) 721-2501. Failure to comply with rules and guidelines will result in forfeiture of deposit.
Picnic Facilities and Athletic Fields
Picnic pavilion reservations can be made in person, online at CityofIrving.org/IrvingRec or by calling (972) 721-2501.
An application is required for all pavilion rentals. Fees must be paid in person at the Parks Department at City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd., or online at CityofIrving.org/IrvingRec.
Rules and guidelines may vary depending on facility requested. For more detailed information, call (972) 721-2501. Failure to comply with rules and guidelines will result in forfeiture of future reservations.
Alcohol and amplified music are prohibited at all public rental facilities.
Multiuse Buildings
A $100 deposit is required for multiuse building rentals.
Rental time frames are: 8 a.m. to noon | 1 to 5 p.m. | 6 to 11 p.m.
Tables and chairs are provided. Use of alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, amplified music and/or live music is prohibited.
The following buildings may be reserved by Irving residents for private functions and/or organizational meetings:
Garden and Arts Building 906 S. Senter Road
• Capacity: 75 people

Heritage Park Building 217 S. Main St.
• Capacity: 30 people

• Rental fee:

• Nonresident: $200 per time frame
• Staff fee: $100 additional for Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening reservations
Heritage Senior Center

The Heritage Senior Center may be reserved for adult functions only.
Ballroom
Available Wednesdays 5 to 11 p.m. and Saturdays 3 to 11 p.m.

Half Ballroom
Available during operating hours only, and only for business/organizational meetings.
Kitchen
Only available in conjunction with ballroom rental.
• Fee: $100
Multipurpose meeting rooms
Two rooms available:

Recreation Centers
A $250 deposit is required for recreation center rentals. Recreation centers may be reserved only during non-operational hours; Saturday and/or Sunday from 6 to 10 p.m.
