‘Let’s Play Irving’ Update: Lee Park Pool Groundbreaking Coming Soon

Get ready to ‘Play, Irving!’ The official design of the new Lee Park Swimming Pool will be unveiled by the end of May, with construction slated to begin later this summer. The facility remains on track to open in summer 2025.

A conceptual design released late last year showed plans for a slide, play zone for younger swimmers, a beach style entry, lap lanes, shaded seating and more. Design elements were chosen based on resident feedback gathered from an online survey and public meeting.

Stay tuned for updates about the new indoor swimming pool at Senter Park and the Mustang Park MultiGenerational Facility & Aquatics Center. Keep an eye out for resident input opportunities later this summer.
