This was a public power forum for leaders in the municipal electric utility space.

It covered a variety of topics like the gas market futures, use of AI in your organization, large load integration into your network, and others. Also provided valuable networking opportunities for similar sized municipal utilities.

This is a great event with low cost to the city. I recommend continuing to participate in future opportunities.

As a member of American Public Power Administration and a board member for the Missouri Public Utilities Alliance, this annual event travels to Washington DC to hear from utility experts on how current and future legislation could impact our industry. We also make visits to legislators on Capitol Hill to discuss our stance on these legislative matters. I will be staying at a hotel much less expensive than the program host hotel.

This yearly conference holds meetings on a variety of subjects pertinent to public power utilities, it also give an opportunity to meet with legislators on capitol hill to discuss items that impact municipal governments and utilities.
