It provided training and operational strategies related to best management practices for the construction, maintenance, and future planning of asphalt roads.
How did training add value to the city?
It provided insight into new technologies and ongoing studies that will improve our internal programming. Additionally, it gave us access to a newly developed budgeting tool to identify the life cycle coasts and improvements of the different maintenance operations we use to help better schedule our future needs.
General comments:
While overall this conference could have been improved with a larger equipment and technology vendor component, it did provide staff with a number of new resources and tools which will be used to improve our future budget preparation and capital project planning.
