Jeep showcase marks new era for community pavilion This week, the City welcomed Jeep to the Foley Family Community Pavilion for an exclusive media reveal of the all-electric Jeep Recon. Executives, journalists, and global creators gathered for a first look and test drive of the pre-production vehicle. Renting the pavilion for private and corporate events will help offset the cost of facility maintenance and will not impact its core use, as a community space for community gatherings, nonprofit events and the farmers’ market.
La exposición de Jeep marca una nueva era para el pabellón comunitario Esta semana, la ciudad dio la bienvenida a Jeep al Pabellón Comunitario de la Familia Foley para una presentación exclusiva ante los medios del Jeep Recon, un vehículo totalmente eléctrico. City welcomes new police officer Otis Hardin was hired by the Police Department as a Police Recruit and attended the SRJC Public Safety Training Center Basic Law Enforcement Academy. He graduated last Friday and was sworn in as a police officer immediately following. He began his field training program this week. Otis is a Healdsburg native and graduate of Healdsburg High School. Hardin is pictured being sworn in by Healdsburg Police Chief Matt Jenkins. “Hardin said: ”I am excited to have the opportunity to work for the Healdsburg Police Department. I’ve lived in Healdsburg for most of my life, I recently worked at Montage Healdsburg as a guest services agent. During my free time I enjoy hiking, working out, swimming and exploring new restaurants and cooking with my girlfriend. I look forward to learning from each member of Healdsburg PD.”
La ciudad da la bienvenida a un nuevo agente de policía Otis Hardin fue contratado por el Departamento de Policía como recluta y asistió a la Academia Básica de Aplicación de la Ley del Centro de Capacitación en Seguridad Pública del SRJC. Se graduó el viernes pasado y prestó juramento como oficial de policía inmediatamente después. Esta semana comenzó su programa de capacitación práctica. Otis es originario de Healdsburg y se graduó de la Preparatoria de Healdsburg.
