ON THE COVER The Fire Substation is Under Construction!
This week, the footings for the Main building and outbuildings (trash enclosure and storage building) were poured. The mechanical, electrical and plumbing is also underway. The Main building concrete slab pour is tentatively scheduled for mid-December. The project is moving right along and we can’t wait to see it finished!

JOIN US FOR THE 40TH ANNUAL SENIOR APPRECIATION DINNER
We extend a warm invitation for you to join us at the 40th Annual Senior Appreciation Dinner, themed “Rockin’ Ruby Jubilee.” The event will take place at the Villa Chanticleer on Sunday, December 3rd, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This event is a celebration of our senior residents and an opportunity for us to say thank you for their many contributions to our wonderful community, past and present!
The Senior Appreciation Dinner is organized and hosted by Community Services staff. However, due to the size of the event, approximately 30 volunteers are needed to ensure that this special day runs smoothly. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available, and volunteers can participate in these three ways: As a server, or cocktail hour host, Kitchen help, set up help, or breakdown help. As a home delivery driver.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate in the event as outlined above. The Senior Dinner is a joyful event, and we hope you can join us as we honor the individuals who have shaped our community! WATER SAVINGS fiscal year 2022/2023
City of Healdsburg offers various water rebates. With the help of our water programs, the community was able to save nearly 90 million gallons of water during the most recent fiscal year (2022/2023), with 87 million gallons offset by recycled water use and approx. 2.5 million gallons saved through rebate programs. PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING On Tuesday, November 28th, 2023 the Planning Commission will hold a design review for the Healdsburg Residences Hotel located at 400 Healdsburg Avenue. The Applicant proposes to develop a 16unit boutique hotel consisting of 2- and 3bedroom suites, with retail space at 400 Healdsburg Avenue. The hotel will include a 2,165 square foot retail space, and a 1,779 square foot restaurant/lobby/lounge on the ground floor, with guest rooms on the upper floors.
The project includes a pool on the second-floor level. Access will be provided to the off-street parking area via a one-way 12’ drive aisle accessed off Healdsburg Avenue. The project includes 34 off-street, valetonly parking spaces and two white curb (passenger loading zone) parallel parking spaces along Healdsburg Avenue. CANNABIS UPDATE On Monday night, after an 18 month process, the City Council selected 465 Retail LLC (DBA Solful), located at 465 Healdsburg Avenue and JF Healdsburg LLC (DBA Jane), located at 44D Mill Street to receive the two available retail cannabis business permits.
