In the early hours of Monday morning, Chris Barry, one of our Mullewa staff members, tragicially lost his home in a house fire The family lost everything in the fire, including their pets.
Chris and his partner have three young daughters aged 7, 6 and 4 and his partner is currently expecting their fourth child in April
At present, a family friend has very kindly provided temporary accommodation while the family begins to process and recover from what has been an incredibly traumatic experience
If anyone in the Mullewa community is in a position to assist, any contributions would be greatly appreciated by the family If possible, preferred essential items include:
Clothing
Everyday essentials
Basic household items
School supplies
Donated items for the family can be dropped off at the Mullewa District Office for collection

ST ANDREW'S ANGLICAN CHURCH IN MULLEWA
At a recent meeting between Mrs Judy Critch, Mr Garry Hamersley and the Anglican Bishop of Northwest Australia, Darrell Parker, the future of St. Andrew’s Church was discussed. Following the passing of Rev Don Miller in October, St Andrew’s has been without a resident minister and has not been able to hold Sunday Services for the first time in its long history.
It was resolved that the Mullewa community be consulted as to the future of St Andrew’s, both the congregation and the buildings We would very much like to hear expressions of interest or comments from Mullewa and the surrounding community as to how it might be possible for the church to continue.
You can contact Judy 0429625044, Garry 0428940372 or Diocesan offices: 99217277
