Star Spangled 4th Wednesday, July 4, from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Goodyear Community Park, 3151 N. Litchfield Rd. Join us at this free event for great live music from our headliner, “Sistah Blue” with special guests “Western Electric” and “The Gold Tones.” The food court will have a wonderful array of vendors who will be serving hot dogs, fry bread, tamales, barbeque, snow cones and ice cream. There will also be a beer garden (I D required) with plenty of shaded seating and tables for you to enjoy. The Kid’s Zone will provide summertime fun with water rides and bouncers. The skies over Goodyear light up at 9 p.m. with the APS Fireworks Spectacular, set to popular and patriotic music. Free parking and shuttles available from Estrella Mountain Community College, at Thomas and Dysart roads. More parking will be at St. Thomas Aquinas Church (Thomas and Litchfield roads) and at the northwest corner of Litchfield Rd. and Avalon Drive. Limited handicapped parking will be available at the park.
