Patrol

Every category except "Drug & Intox Arrests" went down.

We saw a significant decrease in Traffic Accident Dispatched (105 in Dec.), which may indicate reduced traffic during the winter storm. It may also indicate the increased presence of the traffic section, which is designed to reduce traffic accidents.

CID

Crimes against persons decreased, going from 25 in December to 23 in January.

Other Notable Events

The Citizens Police Academy is scheduled to start on February 19th.

Happy Retirement, Paula!

Paula proudly served 25 years as a dispatcher/communications officer, including 15 years with the Forney Police Department. Throughout her career, she exemplified professionalism, dedication, and calm under pressure, while building strong, trusted relationships with her coworkers Thank you, Paula, for your years of service and all you have done for our department. Best wishes in your well-deserved retirement!
