Introduce your child to the water through songs, games, and group activities. Discover basic skills such as water entry and exits, floats, glides, arm and leg movements, and water safety. This class is oneparent to one-child ratio and parent must accompany child in the water at all times.

Angel Island with Tram Tour

Visit Angel Island and see its rich history and natural beauty. You adventure begins with a scenic ferry ride from San Francisco's Ferry Building to sail. Once docked on the island, you will embark on an openair tram tour which will explore the island while providing insight narration. Afterwards, you can visit the United States Immigration Station for a selfguided museum tour, and enjoy the island's stunning surroundings.

Activity Withdrawals

Activity Cancellations

Activities that do not meet minimum enrollment may be canceled. Participants will be contacted and offered the option to transfer or receive a refund, not including credit card processing fees.

50+ Travel

Refund Request

Requests must be submitted in writing and must include participant’s name, address, phone number, name and activity number of the class, and reason for withdrawal. Original payments made by credit card are refunded to the same card within two weeks, minus the non-refundable processing fee of 4.25% for online transactions and 2.75% for in-person transactions. Payments made by cash or check are refunded by check and may take up to six weeks to process.

Resident Fee

Activity participants living in Cupertino zip code 95014 are eligible for a resident discount rate. Proof of residency may be requested.

Waitlists

If the class you requested is filled, you may be placed on a waitlist, free of charge. If the class becomes available, we will call you. Payment is due within 24 hours.

Age Requirement

Where an age is indicated, the participant must be that age by the first day of class. Proof of age may be required.

Class Attendance

Class attendance is limited to the registered participants only. Sorry, no children in adult classes and no adults in children's classes.

Make-up Classes

There are no make-ups for classes you don’t attend.

On occasion, a class or activity will be canceled due to weather, instructor availability, or unforeseen emergencies. If Cupertino Parks and Recreation cancels a class, a refund, not including credit card processing fees, or a make-up session will be offered.

Class Check-in/Check-out

All children 0-14 years of age must be checked in and out of classes and activities by a parent or guardian. Please come into the classroom and see the instructor to check your child in and out.

Credit Card Processing Fee

Credit card payments include a 4.25% non-refundable processing fee for online transactions and a 2.75% nonrefundable processing fee for in-person transactions.

Declined Credit Card

If your credit card is declined, Cupertino Parks and Recreation staff will contact you to request payment. If your payment is not received within 24 hours, your registration will be canceled.

Returned Check

There will be a service fee for each returned check.

Scholarships

Limited scholarship grants are available for youth recreation programs and classes. Our scholarships program is administered by the West Valley Community Services.

The Cupertino Sports Center is a 25,000+ square foot multipurpose facility that features 17 tennis courts, a fitness center with strength training and cardio equipment, free weights, two racquetball courts, indoor and outdoor sports courts, and a complete locker room.
