• Step out onto one of Carrollton’s state-ofthe-art Dream Courts. These multipurpose play spaces were built to provide a safe place to shoot hoops, socialize, and learn about teamwork and good sportsmanship. • For the history buffs, explore Historic Downtown Carrollton with a self-guided walking tour. Pick up a free copy of the Carrollton Historic Tour Map at any City facility.

• Prefer art? Visit cityofcarrollton.com/ arts for an interactive map of Art Around Carrollton, such as sculptures, murals, and even bright designs on storm drain inlets across Downtown. While there, don’t forget to look for Carrollton’s cutest Downtown residents, the Carrollton Critters. • Bring out the smiles and happy squeals as little ones play in the water at W.J. Thomas and Oak Hills Splash Parks. • Grab a racket or paddle and head to one of Carrollton’s 11 satellite tennis courts or 10 neighborhood pickleball courts to enjoy a game with friends. Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Take a jog, walk, or bike ride along the 30+ miles of paved hike and bike trails, then find a spot to sit down and relax at one of Carrollton’s 29 developed parks and recreation sites, including five inclusive playgrounds. • Step into the past at the A.W. Perry Homestead Museum and experience a glimpse into homestead life in north central Texas during the early 1900s. • Go on a StoryWalk® at Clifford Hall Park for an interactive reading experience while enjoying the nature trail. • Play a game of soccer at the Holman D. Rhoton Park soccer court. • Love nature? Hike the Elm Fork Nature Preserve to enjoy plants, birds, and other creatures in their natural habitat. • Get some fresh air and play a fun (or competitive) game of disc golf at the Jimmy Porter or Greenbelt Area 2 Disc Golf Courses. • Play frisbee with a furry friend or let him/ her meet new dogs to play with at the McInnish and Rosemeade Dog Parks. • Enjoy free events all across town such as May the 4th Be With You, Public Works Equipment Rodeo, or Chalk the Park. • Need a quiet place to relax and recharge after spending the day outdoors?
