Bringing Energy, Enthusiasm and Connection to the Mary Ann Young Center At the Mary Ann Young Center, staying active is about more than filling the calendar. It is about making connections, trying new things and being part of the community. Few people demonstrate that spirit better than Brenda, an enthusiastic participant in many of MAYC's programs and activities. Whether joining a creative class, playing cards, attending an educational program, or enjoying a special event, Brenda is often among the familiar faces that help make MAYC such a welcoming place.

Mary Ann Young Center 9150 Central Avenue NE Blaine MN 55434

Participating in several programs has become an important part of Brenda’s week. Each activity offers something different, from creativity and brain-boosting challenges to friendship, laughter, and time spent with others. Brenda shows that growing older does not mean slowing down. Instead, it can be an opportunity to keep learning, stay active, and make a positive difference in the lives of others. Staff and fellow participants appreciate the enthusiasm and encouragement she brings to each program. For Brenda and others, MAYC provides a place to stay active, discover new interests, build friendships, and remain connected to the community. Brenda’s enthusiasm is a reminder that staying active is about more than keeping busy, it is about staying connected, continuing to learn, and finding joy in the people and experiences that make each week meaningful.
