It is not often you see someone get a perfect cribbage hand of 29. Donna Weber did just that at the MAYC on a Friday afternoon. For those who don’t play this card game, you must have a jack in your hand matching the suit of the five that is turned up. As seen in the photo, the rest of the cards must also be fives. Donna has been playing cribbage for the last 35 years since the age of 50, meaning she is currently 85 years young! She stated, “I couldn’t believe it hardly, but I did have it (a 29 hand) once before.” She plays in tournaments held in January, March, June, and October at the MAYC as well as on Friday afternoons. You may also see her playing cribbage at Coon Rapids and Anoka. Donna says, “It’s fun, something to do”. Congratulations Donna and hope you have many more!
