Hansen Playground Awarded $6,000 For Expansion In August 2025, Hansen Elementary opened an expanded, inclusive playground for preschool through third-grade students that addressed overcrowding and created space for more than 60 additional children during recess. Designed for children of all abilities, the playground includes features such as sensory panels, spin pods, and consistent tiling. The playground has been warmly received by both students and community members. While the project experienced an unexpected setback due to vandalism of older equipment, replacement equipment and new benches are underway, creating a full reset of the space and ensuring the playground’s continued impact for years to come!

Water walking and lap swim are now included with the regular summer season pass. This pass will get you into both water walking and when The Falls is open its regular season hours.
