Kamloops is located on Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc territory, situated within the unceded ancestral lands of the Secwépemc Nation. As we face the challenges of the climate crisis together, we have opportunities to learn from traditional knowledge to better understand our local ecosystems and foster sustainable ways of living that have long been practised on these lands—Secwépemculecw.
