We had our second dual meet this past week against Mission Bay high school. We had a lot of athletes competing and regardless of the horrible headwind we had at the meet, we are all proud!Alot of great performances and a couple of PR’s!
We will continue with a dual meet this upcomingThursday against Canyon Hills high school at our homebase.

This past weekend at theArcadia Invitational up north we had a lot of our athletes compete! Chiara Dailey is now No. 2 in the US for the Girl’s mile and isArcadia Champion in the girl’s mile!
Ahuge congrats as well to our Leed Smoole, Gabriella Bardaro,Allison Gray, HannahAalaei,TheaTremaine, Alia Pulli, Keira Briley, Janae Stanley Castillo,Anastasia Volkov and Leilani Hill! Everyone showed their talent and hard work as well as their sportsmanship. We are beyond proud of everyone that competed and for the seniors we hope they feel fulfilled having competed atArcadia their last year as a Viking/Viqueen!

Hi everyone,
If you are all keeping track, most of the team will be done by the beginning of the month of May.That is when the JV City Conference Championships and Eastern League Finals will be held thus concluding the season for a lot of our athletes.
Not to worry! Coach Ben and I will be continuing to hold summer lifts this upcoming break. Coach Savage will hold lifts and training sessions during summer and winter pre-season once football is over. I am sure Coaches Kris and Donte will have jumps training over the off-season too so please reach out if interested.
I would recommend that the athletes who don’t do another sport continue to get movement in such as some runs/strides and weight training.Trying another sport is also beneficial! It keeps athletes in shape and awake. I would not recommend cross country to a sprinter though, might slow the fast-twitch fibers down.
As seen in page 4 there are a lot of opportunities for private/club/camp coaching for all of the events at the high school level. There are always ways to continue training and there will always be people to help.
-Coach Ciro H.
