This past Friday night was Eastern League Finals held at the newly renovated Canyon Hills High School.All of the coaches are BEYOND proud of our varsity group as we took home a LOTof individual league titles.
Leilani Hill was one of our seniors that took a couple of medals and a poster board home (pictured on the front cover) with her winning the girl’s 100m, placing 3rd in the 200m and winning as team in the 4x100m alongside Keira Briley,Ava Gorman, andAva Grace Nichols!
Keira Briley also won the 200m, was a part of the winning 4x400 team, and won gold in the long jump with a PR of 17’4”!!
Our very ownAnastasia Volkov also got tied in high jump with 5’0” and won triple jump with 35’6.25”!
Friday winning the 800m, the 1600m, and the 3200m with ease. Another victory from the Dailey family, Jett won the boy’s 3200m with a time of 9:46.11 and young Blaise with a 10:10.17 PR in the 3200. Congrats to the Dailey family!
AHUGE congrats to Leed Smoole as he proudly took home first in the boy’s 100m, 200m, 4x100m with Peyton Gustafson, Charlie Martin, and Liam Plezia as well as first in the 4x400m alongside Oliver Kincaid, Baptiste Ferton, and Liam Plezia. Hard work and dedication will always pay off and Leed is a prime example of that!

2. As this may be the last meet for a couple of our viking/viqueen athletes, please show up on time and give it your all 3. If it is certain that this is the athletes last meet, please have all of the uniforms that the athlete used throughout the season returned to Coach Ben or Coach Ciro. If the uniform is not returned to the coaches, there will be a hold on their school account and may affect their graduation/school event participation

This week is our banquet for the track and field team it is going to be held where it was last year.The BeachTower Club in Mission Beach.

We encourage everyone to come as it will be the last time this season we are all together in one place and where we will say our goodbyes to the graduating senior class. We will also give out team awards such as MVP, most improved, etc.
There will also be food, drinks, and the chance to hang out with everyone on the team as we are approaching the end of the season and the end of the school year.
We hope to see you all there! Make sure to RSVPas soon as possible!
