Al unir fuerzas, la Asociación Europea de Fabricantes de Cigarros (ECMA) y Messe Dortmund envían un claro mensaje sobre el papel global de InterTabac y la importancia de la industria europea del tabaco. Por un lado, esta nueva alianza estratégica subraya la relevancia del sector como uno de los ejes centrales de la feria; por otro, impulsa el desarrollo del evento y su programa. Los cigarros han sido uno de los segmentos claves de InterTabac desde su primera edición. ECMA reúne a los principales fabricantes de cigarros del mundo en toda Europa y representa sus intereses a nivel europeo. La Premium Cigar Association (PCA) concluyó con éxito su feria y convención anual, PCA26, celebrada del 17 al 20 de abril de 2026 en Nueva Orleans. PCA26 reunió a minoristas, fabricantes, distribuidores, medios de comunicación y profesionales del sector de cigarros premium de todo Estados Unidos y del resto del mundo, ofreciendo cuatro días de negocios, contactos, formación y celebración en una de las ciudades anfitrionas más emblemáticas de Estados Unidos.
PCA26 contó con 262 empresas expositoras y recibió a casi 2,540 minoristas de 970 puntos de venta, con un total de más de 5,945 asistentes durante los cuatro días del evento. La feria abrió sus puertas el 17 de abril con una jornada de seminarios, paneles y entrevistas exclusivas.

Desde un espacio de exposición completamente lleno hasta una oferta de hospitalidad ampliada y una sólida participación de los minoristas, PCA26 mantuvo el dinamismo y el crecimiento que han caracterizado a los últimos eventos de PCA.
Durante todo el fin de semana y hasta el lunes, los asistentes exploraron nuevos lanzamientos de productos, se reunieron con socios clave, fortalecieron relaciones y realizaron pedidos para el próximo año.
Más allá de las actividades comerciales en la feria, PCA26 hizo hincapié en las experiencias y la conexión. Los cigarros de bienvenida diarios, las recepciones nocturnas y el programa ampliado PCA After Hours brindaron a los asistentes oportunidades adicionales para establecer contactos, celebrar y forjar relaciones duraderas fuera del horario de la exposición. Los fabricantes y las marcas también organizaron eventos privados y actividades en toda la ciudad, convirtiendo la semana en un verdadero referente del sector.

The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) successfully concluded its annual trade show and convention, PCA26, held April 17–20, 2026, in New Orleans. Bringing together premium cigar retailers, manufacturers, distributors, media, and industry professionals from across the United States and around the world, PCA26 delivered four days of business, networking, education, and celebration in one of America’s most iconic host cities.
PCA26 had 262 exhibiting companies and welcomed nearly 2,540 retailers from 970 retail accounts, and over 5,945 total attendees during the span of the 4-day event. The trade show opened on April 17 with a day of seminars, panels and exclusive interviews.

Beyond the business of the trade show floor, PCA26 emphasized
experiences and connection. Daily welcome cigars, evening receptions, and the expanded PCA After Hours program gave attendees additional opportunities to network, celebrate, and build lasting relationships outside of exhibit hours. Manufacturers and brands also hosted private events and activations throughout the city, making the week a
true industry destination.
