Some dioceses cover the outstanding installation costs. Others expect clergy to pay the shortfall on the basis that they could recoup installation costs through reduced EV running costs within 6 months. 2. Workplace: The DBF can apply for single or multiple installations across their properties. The grant supports home working, and most clergy have a home office and use their car for work-related travel. In this scenario the DBF pays the outstanding installation costs but is investing in clergy wellbeing and futureproofing their housing. DBFs looking to make multiple installations are encouraged to contact approved EV charger installers already working with Parish Buying to discuss a potential discount.
