01 BUILT TO GROW
To align with our clients’ evolving needs, we designed an ADU that tailors to each stage of the customer lifecycle. By prioritizing speed and relevance, we opted for prefab hempcrete panels, which are designed for sustainable, rapid, and efficient assembly. We wanted to showcase how our innovative building approach supports long term environmental and economic goals.

02 GROWING SPACES
Growing spaces aims to reclaim the often-overlooked spaces typically lost in micro housing. To maximize these underutilized areas, the facade employs a push and pull effect that creates inviting community areas within the building. The vertical farming area, in particular, provides an opportunity for residents to cultivate fresh produce, supporting sustainability and fostering a sense of community.

03 GATES
This project’s main focus was exploring the identity of Harlem’s 125th street. Our main point of research was Franco Gaskin’s artwork that lined the security gates of the street. We wanted to celebrate his work and were inspired to make our own gate.

04 LAYERED
Layered is a multi-family housing project located in the rapidly transforming neighborhood of Gowanus, Brooklyn. The project explores gradiations of privacy, where public, semi-public, and private spaces unfold as one moves through the space. This concept is reflected in the massing, facade material, and program placement.

05 SPATIAL STUDY
This spatial study ‘s primary focus was to research the relationship between windows and facade . Through researching a social housing project done by HARQUITECTES, we were able to explore proportional relationships by physical models and photography.
